Hi Everyone! This is a real bummer. I’ve kept the price of Frankinstax as low as possible for as long as possible- I believe in the product and it being accessible. It’s always been a side project and has never really turned a profit; getting to meet a lot of you, seeing what everyone creates and the community is enough to keep me going.

A lot goes into every Frankinstax- an entire Instax SQ40 camera, additional hardware, darkslides, test film, etc. Recently everything has really skyrocketed in price

Recent increases:
Instax SQ40 camera – 133% ($197 increase over MSRP at the rare in-stock retailer- currently $348 at Best Buy)
Mounting hardware – 38%
Darkslides – 71%
Test film cartridge – 13%
Shipping – 24%

I understand the increase is less than ideal, we can only hope the markets return to normal. The Frankinstax will now reflect market value of components moving forward, price fluctuations between batches may occur depending on availability of SQ40 cameras.
