I do think shooting film has both it’s creative and financial benefits at times- film testing cameras for the first time, going on a casual photo walk or just wanting to change things up.
In the past I’ve struggled to get high quality scans with expired film. With this past roll I’ve realized this was mostly due to my reliance on the presets in NLP, which usually do a fantastic job.
Fully color grading each image post scan was a bit time consuming, but I’m pleased with a few of the shots:
