Cinestill 800T: One Of My Favorite Rolls Yet

There’s nothing notable about any one of the photos I shot in specific on this roll, but as a whole I’m happy with a larger than usual amount of shots. Maybe it’s a combination of the cinema grain, ease of post processing, high ISO or something else. It being one of my favorite film stocks may also contribute, knowing I wanted these shots to count I treated it more as if I were shooting medium format.

These were shot with a Minolta Maxxum 9000 and an older MC 50mm 1.7 at box speed. The 9000 is interesting in that it offers spot metering for shadows, highlights or average, although I’m unsure I took full advantage of that.

I’ve been holding onto a couple rolls in 120, I’ll have to shoot those next. Click to enlarge.
